Who can shop with Modern Salon Services?
Modern Salon Services is exclusively for licensed salon professionals. You must register for a salon pro account to shop with us.
What states do you service?
We currently sell and ship to licensed professionals in:
Texas (TX), Missouri (MO), Kansas (KS), Tennessee (TN), Oklahoma (OK), Arkansas (AR), and Kentucky (KY).
How does customer access work on the new B2B website?
Each individual salon professional is considered a customer and is granted access to purchase through our B2B platform based on their affiliation with a salon company. Even though stylists may belong to the same salon, each has their own login and ordering privileges.
Can a salon owner share their billing information with the whole salon?
Yes. At checkout, the salon owner can choose to “bank” their credit card information. If banked, the card will be available to all affiliated stylists for future orders. If not, each stylist will need to enter their own billing details.
Why is each stylist tied to a salon company if they have their own account?
We operate as a B2B company. While each stylist is treated as an individual customer, their access is based on affiliation with a salon company. This ensures professional-only access while supporting independent ordering. The new website provides greater visibility into this structure.
Website Access & Registration
Why can't I see prices or add anything to my cart?
You’re likely either:
- Not logged in
- Haven’t registered yet
- Or your registration is still pending approval
Registration can take up to 1 business day as we verify your information against our internal records.
Make sure you’re logging in with the same email address you used during registration.
Not sure if you’ve registered? Registration links are located throughout the website.
How long does it take to get access after registering?
We process most registrations within 1 business day. You’ll receive an email once you’re approved.
Ordering & Shipping
How does shipping work?
- Shipping starts at $5, calculated as 10% of your order total, capped at $35
- Free shipping is available on orders over $1,000
- Our Modern Select program offers free shipping for eligible customers
What is Select Shipping?
Select Shipping is our free shipping program, automatically applied at checkout for enrolled customers. It’s coded to each individual customer, not the company.
What does "Order for Customer" mean?
Select this when logging in if you're shipping products directly to your salon client’s home.
- Shipping and Service Fee: $10 flat-rate
- Sales Tax: Not collected—salon professionals are responsible for handling any applicable tax
Returns
What is your return policy?
- Returns accepted on unused products within 30 days of purchase
- A 20% restocking fee applies
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
